Cabo San Lucas
Cabo San Lucas sits right on the edge of the long Baja California Peninsula, known as Land's End. Known as Cabo by the locals, Los Cabos refers to two picturesque towns, San Jose del Cabo twenty miles to the northeast and Cabo San Lucas. It is punctuated by 'El Arco', the famous, natural landmark arch at the southernmost tip, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. The jagged formations of the Sierra La Laguna surround it in protective reverence as the much sought “Lovers Beach” looks on nearby.
Blessed with a perfect climate thanks to an average, year-round temperature of 78 degrees, Los Cabos has become renowned for its championship golf courses, spectacular sportfishing, diving, and full-service marina showcasing numerous epicurean delights and legendary nightlife.
Between the two towns lies the Corridor, complete with fantastic views rimmed by azure waters and plenty to discover inland. For years, Cabo San Lucas was a remote playground for private yacht owners. Sports fishermen from around the world also flocked to the nearby 'Marlin Alley,' which is still recognized today as the undisputed billfish capital of the world.

Dining, Nightlife and Special Events
Dining is varied in Cabo San Lucas and known for having the freshest and most heavenly seafood dishes in the world. Everything from sushi and tempura to traditional Aztec fare will entice your palate here. Steak and lobster houses are a favorite, as well as tequila bars showcasing some of the finest liquors in the world. Cabo San Lucas is also one of Mexico's best places for taco stands (perfect for a quick bite on your way out or on your way back). If it’s first-class nightlife you’re after, Cabo San Lucas duly reigns supreme. Every type of nightclub, jazz lounge, and European-style disco exists here. Feel like dancing in the street? In July, the annual Cabo Jazz Fest is one of the premiere weeklong events and in the fall, many flock to Cabo San Lucas for the Los Cabos Tequila and Mariachi Festival.
