Hotel Las Palmas has 6 guest suites available. Two are located on the upper level of the hotel (these do not have air conditioning) while there are four downstairs (equipped with remote controlled air conditioners). Each room has a somewhat different layout, however, all boast the same amenities.

The interiors of the rooms are appointed with king size beds, cd players, comfy robes for lounging around and programmable mini safes for your individual security.

Your private terrace is provided with a hammock built for two and table and chairs in case you want to enjoy breakfast or cocktails on your own terrace.

The bathrooms are spacious, with double sinks, large mirrors and each shower offers a view of the ocean as well.

Shari and Scott Crawford built, own and operate Hotel Las Palmas. Their idea was to design and build a small luxury hotel with special comforts, amenities and personal attention. Not in the middle of an already congested tourist area, but rather on a quiet picturesque beach with an abundance of natural surroundings, yet still immediately accessible to an international airport. They treat guests, as they would like to be treated.

Doug Davis is the general manager of Hotel Las Palmas. Affable and attentive, he is your “go to man” during your stay. He is host and bartender extraordinaire (and plumber, waiter, repairman etc., on an as needed basis). Doug lives on the premises and is there to assist guests in any needs, questions or requests. His motto is, “Our beer is the coldest in the Barra”. Let him pull a cool one for you and see if you agree!

The staff at Hotel Las Palmas comes from the neighboring villages around Playa Blanca. Many have been with the hotel since it opened and have a special bond with “their hotel”. They take personal pride making your stay at Hotel Las Palmas pleasant and comfortable.
